What buyers say
I have bought so many rug cleaners in the past and nothing compares to the Horsepower Bull Shot rug cleaner. All I have to do is shake the can and spray where it’s dirty. No scrubbing at all.

Safe to use around kids and pets
Spray it, let it dry, let them back on it.
It's safe around pets and kids once the treated area is dry. Keep them off the spot while it's wet, ventilate the room, and store the can away from heat like any aerosol.

Questions before you spray
Will it bleach or discolor my carpet?
It isn't a bleach, but every carpet dye is different. Test a small out-of-sight area first — a closet floor or under a couch — wait for it to dry, and check for color change before you work on the visible stain.
Is it safe around pets and kids?
It's safe around pets and kids once the treated area is dry. Keep them off the spot while it's wet, ventilate the room while you work, and store the can away from heat like any aerosol.
Will it work on a stain that's been there for years?
Old spots are on the label for a reason — the foam emulsifies set-in stains rather than just wetting them. Expect to apply it more than once on an old stain, and to scrub after the second pass. That's also where Max Strength earns its price.
Regular or Maximum Strength?
Regular handles fresh spills and normal traffic without scrubbing. Maximum Strength is for set-in stains, high-traffic stairs and heavy pet damage — same pack pricing either way. Plenty of people keep one of each — that's the Max Power Carpet Kit.
How many cans do I need?
One can handles a season of spot cleaning in an average home. If you have pets, stairs, or a light-colored carpet, most repeat buyers keep two or three on hand — and three is where the per-can price bottoms out at $23.99.
How many stains does one can treat?
A light spray is all a spot needs, so an 18 oz can handles dozens of typical spots. A very large or very old stain takes more — which is what the 2 and 3 packs are priced for.
Does it smell?
It has a clean scent while you're spraying that fades as the spot dries. Crack a window if you're treating a large area, the way you would with any aerosol.
Can I use it on car seats or a mattress?
It's made for carpet, rugs and upholstery, and the couch counts. On any fabric, test a hidden spot first for colorfastness — especially dark or delicate material.
What's the return policy?
The 30-Day No-B.S. Guarantee: not thrilled, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.
